Trackman’s latest Performance Studio update is here, and TPS 10.3 brings several meaningful improvements to instruction, practice, and virtual golf. We immediately noticed the faster pace of play on the course, along with thoughtful improvements that provide meaningful data without overwhelming players during a round.

Integrated 3D Motion Analysis
The biggest addition is markerless 3D Motion Analysis. Using two calibrated cameras—one face-on and one down the line—the software can track a golfer’s full-body movement without requiring physical markers.
Golfers and instructors can view the swing as a 3D model or display body-movement overlays directly on the swing video. With 26 new movement parameters, instructors can now evaluate how the golfer’s body movement affects club delivery and ball flight—all within the Trackman platform.
Faster Virtual Golf Gameplay
Virtual Golf has been updated to create a smoother and more responsive round. Lie, distance and scoring information now appears faster, with fewer interruptions and screen taps between shots.
Menus have also been refreshed, scoring updates are quicker and team formats are handled more efficiently. These improvements may sound small, but together they help keep groups moving and make the entire simulator experience feel more polished.
Improved Drop Options
TPS 10.3 introduces improved drop options when a ball ends up in trouble. Players can more easily understand their available choices, select a drop location and see the applicable penalty.
This is especially helpful for casual golfers who may not be familiar with every rule or simulator setting.
Better Course Download Management
The updated Download Manager gives users and facility operators greater control over course storage. Courses can be installed and managed based on how frequently they are played and how much storage is available on the computer.
For commercial facilities with a large Trackman course library, this makes managing multiple simulator computers easier.
Improved Stability and Everyday Usability
Trackman also included a variety of smaller performance improvements and bug fixes. TPS now feels faster, more intuitive and easier to navigate during both practice sessions and virtual rounds.
TPS 10.3 is not simply a visual update. The addition of integrated 3D Motion Analysis gives coaches an entirely new level of swing information, while the Virtual Golf improvements create a better experience for everyday players.
It is a strong update that makes Trackman even better for instruction, practice and entertainment.
